City Health Clinic policy for cancelled and failed appointments when a patient fails to attend an appointment our clinical time is wasted.

And this appointment time could have been booked by other patients’ of the practice to have treatment carried out. CANCELLED appointments Cancellations made within 48 hours will not usually incur a charge Cancellations are charged at 50% of your booked treatment fee if you cancel an appointment within 24 hours, and 100% for a booked hygiene appointment. And for late cancellations within 12 hours, we reserve the right to charge you the full treatment fee.

If we are able to book another patient into the cancelled appointment slot we will waive the cancellation fee. If you are unable to attend your booked appointment, please let our reception know as soon as possible so we can offer the appointment time to someone else. FAILED appointments Private appointments will incur a failed appointment charge at the cost of treatment, which needs to be settled before further appointments can be made.

Where anyone cancel’s, or fails to attend more than two appointments we reserve the right not to see you again. Under NHS treatment regulations, we have the right to withdraw future treatment from patients who fail to attend TWO appointments
